Update

The more obvious the media makes it that it wants to have McCain's babies, the more I loathe him.

I already lost all respect for him when he said that he'd commit suicide if the Democrats took over Congress in 2006, then failed to follow through...promises, promises.

So I feel like I should point something out:

John McCain is not a maverick. Look at his voting record, for Chrissake. He toes the party line at almost every opportunity.

I should also point out that his voting record wasn't hard to find. Project Vote Smart is all over that shit. Google "voting record John McCain." It's the first result and it's a matter of public record. There's no excuse for this kind of deliberate misrepresentation of reality by something that exists ostensibly to inform the public, and frankly, it's insulting.
