Just packing for the return to school. It'll probably be a week or so before I start posting again.
So, summary:
- FOX is still evil.
- I don't care what people do in private, even if it was a mistake. I am referring, of course, to John Edwards' affair. I wanted to link to a news story on it, but couldn't find anything that didn't present more opinion than I thought necessary, so screw it.
- Michael Phelps is awesome and pretty hot, but the Olympics are still a ridiculously huge waste of airtime. I have not watched any of it this year; I wish I could say that it was a principled stand because of China's human rights record, but in all honesty, I just found myself not caring about it.
- You just can't talk the empire-building spirit out of some countries. Of course, our attempted colonialism of Iraq probably did not set the best example.
